❤️ A big thank you for the overwhelming support for our 2nd Tableware Buffet ❤️

All of us at Table Matters would like to thank all of you for the overwhelming support for our 2nd Tableware Buffet that started on the 1st of October 2021. So much so that by the end of the Tableware Buffet, our store was almost completely empty despite restocking every few days.

For the 2nd edition of our Tableware Buffet, we made two changes to improve the experience from the 1st edition held in January 2021.

  • Appointy System - Participants were required to book their appointment slot one week in advance via a dedicated Appointy system to ensure we did not have people outside the store at Parkway Parade.
  • A box to fit all your items – During the 1st edition, each participants were given a tote bag to fill their items. This time round, the box allowed them to stack their haul more securely and could potential stack more items.

During the first few days of the Tableware Buffet, we had received many happy reviews and viral sharing on social media platforms from happy customers. We had a surge of appointments after the Tableware Buffet was picked up on MustShareNews. It went viral and people started walking in and enquiring after they could not secure a slot via our appointment system. We had to turn people away if they did not have any appointment slots.

With the box, participants were able to take home more items and some of the participants were repeat customers from the 1st edition so they knew the drill of how to maximise the space. On average, customers were taking home more than $300 worth of tableware items.

With the overwhelming support from our customers, the stocks were cleared up faster than we could refill. We were planning to refill the store every week, however, we ended up refilling every other day. By the end of the campaign, we had our store almost cleaned up completely.

We would like to thank our customers for the overwhelming support and grace during the tableware buffet. We would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused for the hiccups arising from our appointment platform and we would improve for our next tableware buffet.
